At Precision Disc the vast majority of CD and DVD orders we produce go out on time and to the client’s satisfaction, but due to the very custom nature of the products we manufacture you have to expect that sometimes there will be a hiccup… it would be ridiculous to deny this.

Due to this we have a warranty policy and stand behind it, so if a manufacturing defect does arise with your CD or DVD order we want to make things right and, as a testament to that, we recently received this message from a client:

Despite a struggling global economy and a marketplace that has become very cautious with its spending, Precision Disc Manufacturing Corp. continues to see solid sales and growth.

The CD/DVD replication industry has seen a lot of change over the last few years, and the recent worldwide economic downturn has put many replication plants out of business. As of October 2009 Precision Disc has become the only Canadian CD/DVD replication plant remaining in operation west of Ontario.

While company management is pleased with the performance, they are not surprised, “We have been focusing on improving all aspects of the company for quite some time.” explains Vice President Bruce Durnie, “so we weren’t caught standing still when the downturn in the economy began. That being said, concerns about the economy certainly give us extra motivation to work hard and stick to our plans and goals.”

The ‘plan’ that Precision Disc has undertaken revolves around the time-honored adage of ‘knowing your customers.’ Durnie continues, “We pay close attention to market indicators and the desires of our clients – then we gear our product and service offering to fulfill those needs. That’s really an over-simplification of what’s involved as every department in the company plays an important part, but at the end of the day such a strong team effort makes the hard work all the more gratifying.”

Another new eco-friendly CD Digipak style is available from Precision Disc.

This new Digipak is called our CS1025 and is an upgrade to our CS1020 version. The CS1025 features 6 printed panels which, after die-cutting, folding and gluing, creates a double-walled finished product with two folds. This single disc capacity Digipak includes an integral tube pocket to accommodate a supplemental printed insert – be that a folder or stapled booklet.

As always, our CD Digipak products are an excellent green choice for your CD packaging: We print on FSC certified 15pt boardstock using waterless printing technology, provide low minimum order quantities, recycle all plastic and paper waste, and provide Digipak trays (standardly available in clear or black) that are 100% recyclable.
